Ford Lane award

It’s Your Neighbourhood Award of Outstanding – Level 5 was presented to resident John Thomas. Equivalent to a Gold Award Level, it was the tenth consecutive year in which Ford Lane had been awarded Level 5 – a remarkable achievement and one for which it received a special commendation.

The award is due recognition of the continued work and dedication of all those who take pride and care in the appearance and maintenance of the historic road on which they reside.

Mr Thomas also accepted awards on behalf of Bradley Fold Allotments, of which he is a long-standing member, in recognition of the tremendous efforts of volunteers and others in overcoming the challenges in the aftermath of the New Year’s Day flood.

(NB: The Reebok Stadium was opened in 1997 and has experienced several name changes since then. It is now officially known as the Toughsheet Community Stadium.)
