Damaged wall on Ford Lane, April 2020

This huge gaping crack in the wall posed a significant danger to the public and necessitated the erection of the protective metal fencing and warning signs. Traffic was reduced to single file. The historic wall is owned by Manchester University, who are responsible for its repair and maintenance.
