This surviving poster appealed to potential purchasers by emphasising the attractions and benefits of living on the estate. The weekly rent was 23 shillings and 6d - £1.5p in modern money. Note how Ford Bank Estate Ltd was based on Cross Street but with the same telephone number as the King Street West address. Very few residents would have had cars or garages at that time.
