The following photographs were taken in early September after the completion of the work to resurface Ford Lane as far as its junction with Fordbank Road. Also included are random pictures taken at the time.

At one time Ford Lane – or Carr Brow Lane as it was known in the distant past – extended beyond the black iron pillars, between the trees and the brick wall.
