A very popular and successful bakery business. At busy times, such as weekends, queues stretched along Dene Road. It was especially busy on Saturday mornings after the completion of the weekly park run, when many runners and friends walked into the village for refreshments.

An unusual aspect of this sign – sited on a communications box on the pavement near Holt House – is that it appears to be entirely in the wrong place in the sense that it is on the wrong side of the road and is therefore unseen by motorists. Unless of course it is intended for speeding users on the pavement of cyclists, e-scooters, e-cycles, skaters et al.
